1 Guitar in 1 Week

Build your own guitar in my workshop in one week.
We will discuss the project together, and even if you’ve never picked up a chisel before, you will leave with a finished, luthier-quality guitar.
If you already have experience in guitar construction, this is a great opportunity to refine your skills using a professional construction approach.

Who can take the course?

No special preparation is required. Even if you have never worked with wood, don’t worry, you will still be able to build your guitar. I will assess your skills and make the most of them.

What kind of instrument can we make?

We will build a luthier guitar from scratch, without using any semi-finished products. The guitar will be entirely crafted by us. Before the course, we will discuss the type of guitar you want to create. You can choose from various shapes and sizes available (multiple options for both classical and acoustic guitars). Upon your arrival, I will have all the necessary molds and tools prepared.

How will our work day be organized?

We will work every day, 8 hours a day, with a lunch break of approximately one hour.

How much does it cost?

The price for a standard 7-day course is 4950€. I am also available for longer courses in order to complete special projects: in these cases, the price will be proportional to the work required.

What is included in the price?

• The guitar: at the end of the 7 days, the guitar will be yours.
• Accommodation for 7 nights in a nearby apartment: the apartment is shared, and you are free to bring guests (who can take advantage of the opportunity for a vacation in Milan). Extra nights can be requested.
• A standard case to transport your finished guitar.

What Is Not Included in the Price?

• Meals: You will need to arrange your own meals.
• Cost of materials: On the first day, we will make a trip to the sawmill where you can purchase all necessary materials based on your budget.
• Tuning machines: There are various options available, which we will discuss.
• Any additional extras, like amplification, special cases, and can be arranged and discussed.

How to take the guitar home?

I’ll provide a standard hard case for transporting your instrument. If you’re traveling by plane, most airlines do not allow guitars to be carried into the cabin without purchasing an extra seat. To save money, the best option is to check the guitar into the hold. We will place the case containing the guitar inside a sturdy cardboard box with protective packaging, ensuring the guitar is safe for travel with other luggage.
